Showroom time! Last weekend Junky again took part in the London Show ROOMS for Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

Despite some scorchio weather and Paris Gay Pride slightly stealing the event’s thunder, the exhibition was a stormer. We met fashion types from all over the world and it looks like Junky will be stocked in some amazing new locations by the end of the year.

There’s an incredible array of London menswear talent at the exhibitions – it’s always a pleasure to see what our contemporaries are up to and we had good fun making friends with our lovely neighbours Matthew Miller.

We’re really proud to be taking part in the London showROOMS together with the most prestigious new British fashion brands out there.

Check out the video from the Junky Air Catwalk Show!

Last week’s Junky Air catwalk was an amazing show, full of the label’s uniquely fierce fashion from start to finish. The collection looked incredible, with the Chesterfield Coats, Jumpsuits, Chiffon Ponchos and Flightsuits all deserving special mention. Styled by ex-Bodymap legend David Holah, the models’ cheeky air force hats and the striped bodysuits brought an irreverant touch to the proceedings. The show’s setting was totally in keeping with the innovative flight-inspired collection – blues skies and clouds were projected across the walls and the soundtrack kicked off with the Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s awesome ‘Aeroplane’.

More imagery and video from the show can be seen on the Junky Styling Facebook and Flickr pages, and the Flightsuits and Jumpsuits are now available to order through bouf.com.

These  fashion illustrations from the Amelia’s Magazine review of our catwalk show look so good we had to post them straightaway. Three incredibly talented fashion illustrators, Olivia Rose, Abi Heyneke and Madi came to the show, and like at the turn of the 20th century, translated what they saw into beautiful illustrations almost overnight.

A date for YOUR diary – Junky will be holding a catwalk show and party in the Old Truman Brewery on Tuesday, March the 29th. The collection which will be shown, Autumn Winter 2011, is one of Junky’s strongest yet. We’ll also be showcasing the gorgeous new Ju.St range, our luxury line from limited and end-run off-cuts. Some of our good friends (who also happen to be great DJs) will be coming along to play at the party, which very nicely will also be sponsored by Courvoisier.

The show and party will be taking place between 7 and 10 pm on Tuesday March 29th so keep the date free! More details to follow shortly.

It’s all change at Junky for the Women’s Spring collection, full of new colours, shapes and fabrics.
