Why do you like Junky?
I choose clothes on the basis of their originality and design, I chose Junky because they are timeless clothes that reflect my personality. I’m not a show off (I’m actually quite shy) but I enjoy the comments that I get when I am wearing Junky clothing. It’s important to me that I buy a piece of clothing that is exclusive to me, I like the fact they produce one-off pieces.

My favourite Junky piece
Well, my favourite piece was a wrist cuff made from charcoal suiting with a pink and black spotted silk trim. I took this off to wash up somewhere and have never seen it since. This was without doubt my most worn piece.

Another favourite would be my husband’s tie-bottomed, silver-grey trousers. He only wore them for special occasions and I decided they needed to get out more. A very quick button addition converted them to fit me and creates a fold on the front that compliments the design. Now I wear them all the time.

Why I Like Junky Styling
I think of myself as an urban dandy and I like to be noticed. I think
they make some really cool stuff and it slips into my existing
wardrobe (built up over years) really well. People always ask me
where did I get my Junky pieces from and as much as I hate telling
them, I love that fact I get clocked for looking different.
